Weekly Summary 2024/18

Hello!!!!

The days are getting so longer (I'm happy!!) and it gets warmer! The blue skies cheer me up so I snap photos of the clouds each time it's clear! 📸

Albeit slow, commissions work are on track to finishing this month! 💪 I'm also part-timing outlining Pippa's new VN for potential spooky jam entry, let's see how it goes!

Art stuff

This week is full of doodle because making indulgence art is not on high priority for me this month. It's always fun, and I'm glad that it's been like that.

I experimented a lot of things, it was nice! I also wrote a little bit of Konaverse lore while I redesigned Pippa in post 2139 and 2140. I wrote about how witches and wizards work in that world, how magic works, some rules about witchery and more. Since it's still brewing, I'll talk some more about it – once it's settled, I can probably create a Konaverse document in my website to explain more about the world hahaha. Ah... Stop it, brain...

I tend to worry a lot about this (more about disappointing future me), but I guess I don't need to – I can just think about whatever I want to make at the moment. Future me can deal with the problems at that time.

Dev stuff

Earlier this month, I set up my Steam dev page in order to also distribute my VNs on it. Some of my IRL friends are on Steam so it's nice that I can just gift or send the page link of my creations to them right away without going to Itchio. Also, it would be interesting to be able to reach more people, many devs say that Steam is a big market and if one has cash to spare, it's worth to get a page there.

So I'll very, very slowly start adding the VNs I've been making to Steam as well. All of them (free and commercials) will eventually make it on Steam, although really slowly. Currently I'm going through the dev checklist really, really slowly hahaha x_x);; I'll see if I can, by the end of July, put Tuna Rice there for it's first anniversary hehe. I also plan to finish the indulgence comic pages of Tuna Rice in a tiny artbook I'll put as DLC of Tuna Rice as well. That would be fun! ;w;
