Monthly Summary: September 2026

It was another very, very busy month for me with travelling and many other stuff! I was able to draw a little bit amid the chaos (positive) but it still took a huge portion of my time for non-creative stuff.

I foresee this state of my life to last until the end of the year, so posts may be slow until then. 😔 I'll do my best in keeping this website active, though I may need to change my creative approach and do different things to keep my mind fresh. If anything doesn't work with me, I'll make sure to take a good break, away from creating – it usually helps make me want to create anything again pretty soon. My mind is that fickle, I can guarantee.

Mostly analog doodles! I like it actually. Taking a break from digital stuff really does wonder to my mind.

There are some new things art-related I'd like to share here, such as the content of my homemade sketchbook, the leather cover I bought just for it, my travel art kit I assembled earlier this month, and more. I just didn't have time to take photos and draft those posts, so they will be pushed to October perhaps.

I caught many long flights this month, and my e-reader was like my best friend! ✨ I was able to read some manga in it, it was really fun! I also read my scripts of Reapers on Duty and Blooming Chimes, and mentally took notes of typos and awkward grammars. Of course, I didn't write any of them down – I'll have to redo all these notes again next time I go through them.

There are multiple work lining up in front of me which wants my attention for the next few weeks, so I have to take care of them almost full-time. I've been wanting to put the Steam page of Reapers on Duty up asap, but I need one more screenshot and I'm still stuck at it. D: With all these pressure, I don't know if I can make 2027 calendar. I don't even know if I want to make it, perhaps I can just make it digitally this year...? I kind of don't want to pile even more unused, unsold calendars in my house. 😅

On another note, I went out earlier this morning and felt the autumn air even when it's still warm. That breeze gave me very, very weird feeling, almost like a whisper: "It's VN devving season~" and suddenly I got a huge excitement into going back to VN development. Commissions and IRL commitment made me put my personal projects aside, but perhaps I can let it rise a little bit in near future to help me cope with the work I'm having.
