Monthly Summary: October 2026

It was a busy month!! And this will last for the next few months. It's mostly commission related, so I'd want to share it only when the clients have posted it. >_<

There was also a lot of admin work: e-mails, keeping track of multiple tasks related to multiple people, tons of reminders, supervising several personal projects, and many more. For the first time in my life, the idea of an assistant sounds appealing. Funny, isn't it – that I even considered that when delegating tasks is one thing I have a very hard time doing throughout all my life.

I found a different solution: a kanban board. I learnt about this on my uni days, but didn't really use it until now.

So I set up an offline kanban board to give my brain dopamine from moving cards to "Done". The trick is to make many cards of very simple stuff, like: reply to this email, draft this post, etc. For now, it's working. I have so many to-do systems around me: tasks feature in my email client, tasks app in my phone, a notepad where I write down everything I need to do. All these are everywhere and I lost track of them all. Let's see if this board helps.

(There's no peek of my kanban board because it's too personal and it has all the names of the people I correspond with.)

Oof, another busy month indeed.

Instead of regretting the less number of posts I made, I'd like to highlight some interesting things!

An update to Pippa VN! I've planned this update for a while already, so it feels good that it finally came out.

My palm-sized babies! 🤲

And... quite many posts talking about my analog tools. I just finished deciding on many of those, so it felt quite right to document them here, since it's basically still on-topic.

I feel like November is going to be a rather sparse month in terms of BTS posts. I have a few important appointments, and I'd like to really focus on my commissions. Sadly, my personal projects have to be put on pause while I'm giving my attention to other more important things. But that's okay! It motivates me to finish them faster; so I can go back to making my beloved stories.

Yumiel-chan for this month's banner. Can you guess why? Because most scenes of Reapers on Duty take place in October!
