Monthly Summary: June 2026
June went in a blur. It was pretty productive at the beginning of the month, and then somewhat waned on the second half...
If you're reading this and I haven't replied to your email or messages, please be patient as I'm slowly going through my messages and emails one by one. ;-;
Those empty days made me a little sad, but I hope to work harder to compensate it next month.
Toward the end of the month, I made an impulsive watercolor painting:
I've been more and more comfortable with watercolor. I even made my own travel kit! I should make a post about it... I was away for a while on the second half of the month, and I painted one tiny fanart for a relative I met ^_^ I made too many detail-level mistakes (I didn't watch enough TADC hais), but that was still really fun!
It's time to catch up with the rest of the episodes...
Also, I started to take an interest in canvas painting!
I don't want to invest in acrylic or oil paint yet, but I can foresee myself painting some of the art I would usually do digitally. That sounds really fun!
Then, my fourth event: Bazar do Zentai happened in the middle of the month. I had a lot of fun!! โจ
Met new artists and chatted with some of them, um, a little bit. XD My helper friend did the beckoning much better than me, I'd just wave and smile, unsure of what to do/say. But I genuinely enjoyed having everyone coming to my table, even when they were just taking a look. Thank you so much!!
I also had an impulsive thought: print some To: You copybons to bring to the event. Sure, why not! I did it, and it was fun!
Alright, it's not all fun. It was stressful at times, with ink misbehaving, smudges, unwanted lines, etc. โ but the process itself overall was very inspiring and different than my usual grind. Also, the fact that everything was produced in-house made these tiny comiclets feel very special.
I was away for a few weeks after this, so this post was only done in mid-July. If anyone is reading this: thank you for the patience. I'm working hard to chase all the overdue work at the moment. ๐ช

They're the OG design of Haru and Bell. I love them so much... My dearest...
