Monthly Summary: August 2025

Hmm... Why is it already August haha 💦 it feels like time is chasing me.
In contrast with last month, this month is way more active!

I finally reprioritised my to-do list and calendar drawing/composing is now on my first priority. I also did a little bit of housekeeping for BTS with new look, and played with some new art tools. It's overall a hectic month, but pretty rewarding!
A look of the new art tools:

Ink and pen!!! First impression: I... don't like it very much hahaha. It has steep learning curve... I'm hoping to like it more soon. I did some doodle tests with it, and I think I got better the second time I'm using it. 💪

Felt pen markers I got from IKEA. Super fun!!! I think I'm happier with simpler art tools hahaha.
Oh! I finished an illustration, finally:

It was supposed to be up on Maid Day in May but... 🤷♀️
Also, since I finished Reapers on Duty's outline last month, this month I brought it up to two people (for now). I don't have any ETA of it finishing yet since I still have a lot in my plate at the moment, but hopefully closer to mid-November, I may be able to start slowly writing it.
I didn't do any VN maintenance this month because of a surprising art market participation I'll be doing in a few months! >_< Wah! My first art market ever! Doki doki waku waku! My priorities shifted a lot, and for the next few months I'll be doing mostly art stuff. VN dev will be very slow paced. Including the art books. 😅
Anyway! This month's banner:

I was quite indecisive since I haven't been working on my characters this month. I picked Kitty since it is her birth month!
Things remain messy even after my attempt to tidy it last month haha. Things happen, come and go, but in general I'm pretty flexible with prioritising things, so... well... it may look messy outside, and sometimes I'm softly panicking... but how can I put this in words: it's also fun??? Adjusting things each time new shiny thing come knocking on my door, wanting my attention. Of course I do a lot of filtering (and my leisure time and games suffer the most) but well, working on making creative things has been the funnest for me. Tiring sometimes, and also stressful... But it is still fun to dive into making things. Putting ideas into real world that others can see. Would rather doing all this than anything else, really. I wonder if that makes sense haha.
