I'm back!
Hello hello! β¨
I have returned from my a-month-plus break. '-')7 It was nice!! I got to meet my family and visited many new places, it was very fun and refreshing!!
I'm still in the middle of readjusting my body to my usual routine, but I'll do my best to resume BTS posts, commissions work and dev activity slowly. πͺ
I missed so much of my routines: my projects, my characters, and the days where I can sit for hours: drawing (either for clients or for myself), writing 5,000 words in one go about my characters doing cute things, coding simple things and getting frustrated over it hahaha. π¦
Looking back at this post, I was expecting to draw a few things on my trip/break. Well... π regretfully saying, it didn't go very well. ;;A;;)
There were way too many things happening which affected my ability to calmly draw during my break/trip, such as:
- Motion sickness! I had long flights, so I thought I could draw many things on at least one of them, but even when there was no turbulence, it felt nauseating just to look at the tip of my pencil to draw. So I stored my sketchbook right away. Sads...
- I hurt my feet because my sneakers hurt a lot!! ;;A;;) With swelling feet and having to walk so much every day, there was no room in my mind to do "drawing to rest". I really just wanted to survive the next days.
(As I write this, my feet are so much better now thankfully. I got myself new, comfortable shoes on the second-half of the trip.)
In conclusion, I didn't have much, if any, drawing to show for April's posts. π₯² I think it would be too stressful for me to fill in the entire April's posts for the sake of it, so I'll leave the entire April and first 12 days of May's posts empty. Consider it a mark of me taking a break. I should make peace with it slowly and not let my mind getting so obsessed with perfect attendance posts... πͺ
I'm still thinking about what I want to post this month. I'll be catching up the commissions work that I left in March, and I want to finish them by mid-June. I won't share the work for clients' unreleased projects, so I have to think of other things to share for the rest of this month.
Please give me a few days to think, and then I'll catch up on the rest of May's posts! ^wΒΊ )9 I think I want to share some nice things that I photographed during my break/trip, so I'll think of how I'm going to put a twist on it and I'll share them here once I'm done doodling on them!
I'm so excited to work on things again. Let's do our best!
See you!
