Cuddling with Fei 2 (watercolour painting + timelapse video)

It took me a few days of looking at my failed watercolour painting until I had the courage to do it again... And I'm glad I did!

I redrew the first painting with the light table. This time, I used medium nib instead of fine, and I love it so much more, that I did two pieces of it! ✨ I really, really like linearting... It's really fun...

For the watercolour painting, no more undertone was applied. Just colour-pick everything from the palette. For some reasons, I'm so much happier this way. The washes were pretty loose, greatly inspired by urban sketchers on YouTube. It was so fun! I'm glad I'm able to enjoy painting again after that sad feeling I had with the first attempt of painting this.

My colour-picking process is rather safe. I'm not very adventurous in this, I like my palette small. Playing it safe. 👍
