Bazar do Zentai 3a edição recap

Bazar do Zentai 3a edição recap

I applied to this event a little bit late(?) and after the applicants announcement, there was only around 2 weeks to think about the logistics and preparation. I didn't have any new merchs, so the prep was actually quite fast: packed everything in my luggage and all was set!

In addition to that, I didn't even do any social media posts nor announcements except here in BTS so the burden to post and market never existed to begin with. XD I think that was nice for me, but yeah... it was bad business practice.

Well, I just wanted to have fun and look at so many art!!! I'm extremely thankful for sales, but meeting people and seeing other artists' creations are the most exciting things for me in this kind of events.

Building the grid always drained most of my energy. I probably need to up my stamina. >_> It was a warm day but it was pretty nice inside.

There was some down time that I was able to walk around and look at cool art. Most were fanart I barely recognised, so I was a little sad ;_; I'd love to see more original art. OCs, comics, and (low expectation but perhaps...?) indie VNs.

Some people came to my table and started conversations. My friend helped me a lot in that since I'm just a terrible conversation-starter... One artist passed this fluffy soot sprite(?) – I was like ??? wait? Is this for me???

Thank you so much you're so kind! 😭 Check her page out here!

We also gave free stickers to passerby who signed my guestbook as usual. ^^ It was fun! I printed, laminated, and cut the free stickers myself. Apologies if the print quality was weird, my printer was throwing some tantrum and I didn't have other ways to make them.

Throughout the day, we probably had exchanged hundreds 'thank yous'...

I didn't do any live sketches in this event, but something more exciting happened: I sold several To: You comics!!!! Like, woah!!!! The art style is wonky and the story is too silly, but one comment from the buyer that I will definitely take to my grave (rephrased):

"Somehow, I could understand what's going on even when there's no dialogue. That's really cool!"

and he proceeded to buy two copies. 😭😭😭😭😭💕💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏🙏 I wish you all the happiness in the world, warm toilet seat in the coldest winter, chilly pillow cover in the warmest summer, and have your favourite drinks every time you want them.

Some pretty things I got:

Merchs: knitted keychains by sappho.made, tiny soot sprite by melody_pitau, stickers by shimejinn, panriun, caliipso_, (I can't recall the artists of the armless armor and low social battery fox stickers ;;;;; I think I remember your table but I'm unsure so please email me to confirm if you happen to read this!!), and tiny bunny doodle by panriun too! <3

And the guestbook:

The staffs were very kind and sweet! I enjoyed the event a lot. ^^ They also sold some cookies which was a nice, light treat!

Thank you very much everyone! 🫶 Hope to see everyone again in future events!
