2967. Ducks by the pond (watercolour painting + timelapse video)

This is my first try at using watercolour to paint on Fabriano watercolour paper. It's really nice! ✨ Specialised watercolour paper is awesome. Even when this brand is more on the affordable side, it's already a great improvement to what I usually used!

I'm glad I made a tiny sketchbook out of this paper!

My watercolour painting is still on the simple side without much colour blending. I tried some blending, especially for the grassy ground and the reflection of the ducks on the water, but I think it's still looking quite plain. More practice is due.
