2714. 6th and 7th fountain pen: Kaweco AL Sport M Nib in Deep Red and Rose Gold

It wasn't intended, but New Year = New Fountain Pens! XD

I didn't want to buy pricey fountain pens anymore (especially since HongDian M2 serves me so, so well) – but these were on 50% discount, and I love my first Kaweco Sport, so I grabbed them. 😳

Both are M nib, I didn't have other choices. The good thing is: I didn't have M nib, so these two are welcome!

I think metal fountain pens are my favourite! They're heavier than plastic/resin pens, and feel firm in my hand. The red one feels cold to touch the first time, it feels good!

The red pen has some texture, while the rose gold is more smooth, slippery-like. Both are pleasant, I like them!

Ink test:

Took this way later, hence the date.

I used the included cartridge for this pen because I didn't have any converter. It's Kaweco cartridge in regular blue. I like the blue colour, the ink looks so feathery in my cheap notebook for some reasons. This never happened with any of my Platinum ink.

I got another converter for Kaweco Sport (why aren't they included like HongDian? Aaaaa!) and inked it with Platinum Carbon Black. Uwah... It feels so good! I think M nib is my favourite. B nib is fun for colourful ink, but M nib is so much more fun to draw/write with compared with F nib. *side eyeing both of my TWSBIs – they're both F nib uee*

With this, I'd like to stop 🙅‍♀️ buying fountain pens from this point. I already have seven pens, with six inked... (Which may decrease as time goes by) I don't need more...! 💸
