2506. Second fountain pen: GET!

I thought I didn't need more than one pen! I've never been so wrong... 😬
In the past few weeks, I have been drawing with more ink doodles than digital doodles. They (= the fountain pen enthusiasts) were right: there's something different about drawing with a fountain pen. The wet ink flow feels very smooth, it glides across the paper in a fun way! There's something about using wet ink that we can refill as much or as little as we can, that's something to look forward to without buying more pens only to throw away later.
So, the pen and ink I bought last year was super nice and fun (with a really cute yellow colour somemore!), but it has a problem 🥲 the ink is not waterproof aaaaa ;;; and so, I can't paint watercolour on it without smudging everything. Not when I recently started to pick watercolour painting again!
It's been a year and I've been using my pen daily, so I figure it's high time to get another fountain pen: so I can have two functioning pens with normal ink and waterproof ink.

I got another TWSBI :) in matcha green! It looks nice! I almost got the purple one, but decided to get this colour instead after days of thinking.
Why do I stick with the same brand ah... hmm... It's a matter of it already works so well for me? I don't really have indispensable resources (time and money) to try other brands. Me getting fountain pens is more of a conscious choice of getting something I use every day with an improved quality and lifespan: the differences in writing and drawing with fountain pens vs ballpoint pen/drawing pen is noticeable enough for me to invest in these!
Also, I don't have much desire to hoard fountain pens. At least, for the moment hahaha 💦 I don't know how this will change in the future though... To summarise: the reason why I started getting fountain pen was to reduce purchases and waste. So, no hoarding and no buying unless my ink bottles finish! >:(

Both of my fountain pens are with F nib, which I think is not so thin and not too thick either. I was torn between getting F nib or M nib for my second pen, since I really like thick lines... BUT, my writing is small, so I was thinking: with smaller nib, I can make it thicker (somewhat?) but with bigger nib, there's no way for me to make it thinner.

My first pen (yellow) is ECO-T; it has a shape to help grab better (at least that was what I read somewhere?). I do like its triangular shape, but the shape itself isn't that bothering for me. Now that I have the normal ECO (matcha green) with regular shape (it's round inside the cap), they barely feel any different for me, honestly. I don't hold my pens very strongly, it may make bigger differences for those who grab their pens very strongly, maybe...
Next post: I will share my crazy experiment about mixing ink as a completely newbie!
